For the last several years, I've worked to help create affordable, convenient, and sustainable transportation choices for San Francisco and the Bay Area. I've focused my energies on transportation issues because whether we take public transit, walk, drive, or bike, each one us is impacted on a daily basis by how our streets are designed and managed. In particular, I'm interested in ensuring that social and environmental justice concerns are addressed through our transportation system. Creating more efficient, comprehensive, and affordable transit systems is a public benefit to all of our residents, however they move on our streets. Transportation improvements can be some of the best ways to create neighborhoods that are vibrant, healthy, and thriving. I'm happy to share any of the research on this site.
